The Project

CPB Contractors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa..  The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.  Works will go through until mid-2026.

Your opportunity

Join CPB Contractors as a full-time employee and contribute to the success of one of Australia's largest contractors. Engage with industry leaders from project start-up, working on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis with a balanced 20 days on and 8 days off schedule.

We have opportunities for Storeperson / Escort Driver / yard handto join our team

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Must hold full, valid driver's licence
  • Must hold white card (card required, not just a certificate) with unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry
  • Construction site experience, in a similar FIFO role, 2-3 years minimum
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Indigenous Candidates strongly encouraged to apply

  • Other qualifications that are desirable, but not required

  • HRWL for EWP, and working at heights

  • Telehandler ticket (RIIHAN309)
