Dalby Christian College is a co-educational, Prep-Year 12 Christian School with secondary boarding and an Early Learning Centre. The College was established in 1981 and teaches from a Biblical Christian Worldview with the purpose of equipping young people of character and purpose in Christ.

The College is seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated Industrial Technology Teacher who can actively support and uphold the values and Christian ethos of the College. This position is an opportunity for a teacher who enjoys delivering hands-on learning experiences and inspiring students to develop technical, problem-solving and design skills.

The successful candidates would have the ability to teach:

  • Design and Technologies syllabus (Years 7-10)
  • Senior Industrial Technology Skills
  • Senior Design
  • Certificate II Engineering (or be willing to obtain the qualifications to teach)

An expression of a personal Christian faith, regular church attendance and a commitment to the ethos of Christian Education is essential.

Successful applicants will need to:

  • Demonstrate the ability to integrate a Biblical Christian worldview into curriculum.
  • Be highly motivated and organised in the planning and delivery of the curriculum.
  • Have a passion to see each student succeed.
  • Have a commitment to pastoral care and extra-curricular activities.
