RRC Australia is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our client's maintenance team as a Process Fitter.

Our client is a leading name in food processing and is offering a fantastic full-time opportunity with an immediate start.

About the Role

As a Process Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising complex mechanical systems to keep production running smoothly. This role requires problem-solving under pressure, technical know-how, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.


What We're Looking For

  • Australian recognised trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting
  • Proven experience in fault finding on complex mechanical systems (ideally in food manufacturing)
  • Skilled in time-critical breakdown repairs to meet production targets
  • Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Solid understanding of health & safety, food hygiene, and security standards in manufacturing
  • Flexibility to work across day shift, night shift, and Saturdays when required
  • Restricted electrical licence (disconnect/reconnect) – highly regarded
