Would you like to work in a lovely boutique 'special interest' practice?  And the best news is, we never see more than 15 patients in the whole day  We are a calm & happy place to work – even our patients tell us that. The Snore Fix Doctor & Family Dentistry concentrates on providing peace and quiet to both our staff and patients.

Located only minutes from the beach, in inner Bayside Melbourne, Hampton, (close to a local train station) surrounded by great shops and amenities - enjoy unrushed lunch breaks, snacks and tea in the practice when you need them, chill music, and lovely plant filled surrounds indoors,along with tonnes of natural light. Our clinic is entrenched in the community and known as the corner place to rendezvous for pet walkers, as we ensure our furry friends are left dog treats and water outside.

We are honest and caring towards our patients and our community, in fact, one of our practice partners has received humanitarian awards for their work, (Bayside Citizen of the Year 2025) and the other has lectured for hospital faculties and does 200 hours per year professional enrichment studies or additional qualifications study and holds multiple Fellowships. We have just been announced as "Best Sleep Disordered Breathing Treatment Specialists in Australia" in the Global Oral Health & Dentistry Awards 2025, and are multi award winning (third year running).

1. We are seeking a mature, and skilled Receptionist / Dental Assistant who is reliable, computer savvy and smart – a terrifically great chatty person,who can handle patient enquiries and calmly sail through appointment making and interaction with others. Amazing English skills are a must, as we often deal with quite a sophisticated patient base. A gold medal in organisation will help you, and the ability to take the ball and run with it is a must. We would welcome someone mature aged who is returning to the workforce after having a family.  You MUST HAVE Chairside Assistant (DA) background, as from time to time, you may be required to jump in when needed if someone is away sick.
2. We would also love to add a fantastic new Dental Assistant/ Nurse to work full time with our single principal dentist who has a special interest not just in dentistry but Dental Sleep Medicine. Immediate start. Someone who understands Steri and hygiene and wants a lovely and easy place to work surrounded by greenery and happy music.

We are very open to hiring from the Australian Defence Force community, either Reservists or Veterans, (or family member) as we are also part of that sphere.

We have multi-generational families as patients, some have attended our practice, for 45 years, so this allows us to 'know' our patients. For us all, communication, smiles, and people skills are paramount.  Being a well-known, 'destination' clinic, we see some very recognisable public faces in our offices, and people who are seeking very specific and skilled treatment. Discretion and patient confidentiality is a must. Our practice is unique to Melbourne and diverse,so you will never be bored

Weekends are our personal time, and we don't work evenings either. We would rather start early at 7.30am and finish by 5pm Monday to Thursday, with Friday afternoons (work to 1.15pm) off as free time to give us a longer weekend. Our appointment increments are often 2 hour blocks, so plenty of time to get on top of the sterilisation / admin work etc.  Incoming calls are steady and never rushed – polite conversations on the phone are normal for us with our patients. We pay well above award rates for great people.
