About the role:

The role is residential and the successful candidate will be required to work autonomously but with the backing of multiple branches and a nationwide product support team.

You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of diesel-powered construction equipment and Crushing/Screening products.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel-powered construction equipment
• Conduct engine overhauls, rebuilds, and replacements as needed
• Identify and diagnose issues using computerized diagnostic tools and other equipment
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain accurate and complete service records

About you

In order to be considered, you will come from a heavy equipment service background within any relatable industry.

If you've worked in a trade role construction equipment, mining, forestry, access equipment, forklifts, generators, compressors or any other relevant equipment, we want to speak with you

Key candidate criteria are:

• Relevant Trade Qualification of Mobile Plant Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic
• Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment
• Proven experience working on Crushing and Screening products
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostics skills
• Ability to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Strong computer literacy
