Lead Educator

Join our Redbank Plains Team as our Educational Leader and Events Planner

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Educational Lead Educator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading through collaboration, supporting others, and making a meaningful impact.

In this role you will have a balance of non-contact and contact responsibilities, with 2-3 days off the floor dedicated to coaching, mentoring and guiding the team. The remaining time will be spent in a float position, working closely with educators to support high-quality practice across the service.

You will also play a key role in planning and coordinating service events within the community, helping to strengthen relationships and enhance our program.

We are looking for:

• An enthusiastic team player who thrives in a leadership role
• Someone ideally available 5 days a week
• A motivated educator with strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS and regulations
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills

About the Centre:

Located at 382 Redbank Plains Road, just across from Redbank Town Square, Kids Academy Redbank Plains offers quality early education and care for children aged six weeks to five years. We're open Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for your child to grow and thrive.

Our passionate and experienced educators are committed to nurturing each child's unique learning journey through our exclusive Lifelong Learning Curriculum — a play-based, research-driven program that supports development in communication, creativity, confidence, and wellbeing.

Each day is filled with opportunities for fun and discovery, with beautifully designed indoor and outdoor play spaces, a bright and quirky playground, and a variety of engaging experiences, including sports, music incursions, wildlife shows, and visits from Urban Utilities

About you: 

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or an ACECQA-approved equivalent Bachelor's degree
• A current Working with Children's Check or willing to obtain
• Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• A strong commitment to fostering the growth and development of young minds
