Air Control's NSW Commercial Projects Department is on the hunt for an experienced HVAC/Mechanical Services Project or Construction Manager to take the lead on a diverse portfolio of commercial projects and the commercial projects team This isn't just another management role — for the right person, it's a genuine pathway to business partnership.

You'll oversee and drive major HVAC and Mechanical Services installations across New South Wales, building strong client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and delivering projects that make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll take ownership of an exciting portfolio of commercial HVAC and Mechanical Services projects. You'll be at the heart of the action — planning, delivering, and leading from the front.

  • Drive a wide range of commercial installations — every project is different, every day is exciting.
  • Build strong, lasting partnerships with clients, builders, and contractors.
  • Grow, lead and mentor a motivated project team, coaching them to success.
  • Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and resources, making sure every job runs smoothly.
  • Stay on top of budgets, timelines, and quality with confidence.
  • Ensure safety always comes first, keeping WHS standards front and centre.
  • Shape smarter ways of working with innovative ideas that boost profitability.

You're an experienced leader in HVAC/Mechanical Services who's just as comfortable on-site as in the boardroom. You bring:

  • A track record of successfully managing commercial HVAC/Mechanical projects.
  • Natural leadership skills — confident in motivating, guiding, and developing teams.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities to work with everyone from clients to subcontractors.
  • Financial acumen — able to keep projects on track, profitable, and efficient.
  • A problem-solving mindset and commitment to delivering excellence.
  • Solid knowledge of WHS and project management tools.
