St Andrews Christian College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team in Wantirna South. As a Primary School Teacher for Year 6, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our students within the Primary School department. This part-time (FTE 0.4), fixed term role commences on 25th August, 2025, until 31st March, 2026. Working days for this position are Mondays and Tuesdays. The main responsibilities and tasks of the role include:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
- Establish clear objectives for each lesson and communicate them to students in an accessible manner.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop well-rounded educational experiences for students.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and maintain open communication regarding students' progress and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities or school events.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of primary education principles, and a genuine passion for nurturing student growth.
