This is a full-time on-site role for a DevOps Engineer, located in Melbourne.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring system reliability and scalability.  Day-to-day tasks include managing CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, handling infrastructure as code, collaborating on security best practices, and optimising resource utilisation.

The DevOps Engineer will also work closely with the  development teams to streamline workflows and support rapid iteration. This role offers a strong foundation for career progression, providing opportunities to develop advanced cloud architecture skills and grow into a DevOps Lead position, where responsibilities would expand to include overseeing the entire infrastructure operation, implementing cutting-edge automation strategies, and driving technological innovation.

Additionally, a focus on security will be key, ensuring robust protection against vulnerabilities and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including services like S3, Lambda, Cognito and SNS
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred
  • Previous experience in a DevOps or similar role is a plus

Bonus Points For

  • Exposure to Web3, crypto or digital asset operations
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and system administration
  • Experience with dev environments, compliance in regulated industries
