Permanent Part-Time Dental Assistant needed - 4 days a week

Hobart Family Dental is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our friendly team at Hobart Family Dental. The role is 4 days a week, dental assisting with some administration duties when required.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting dentists during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing other support as needed
  • Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
  • Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are fully stocked
  • Greeting patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
  • Scheduling appointments and handling other administrative tasks as required
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and dental charts

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and the wider dental team
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
