The Team:

Join us - a close-knit group of oral health professionals, a mixture of locals and new Tasmanian adventurers. We work across major centres and community dental clinics, providing contemporary, evidence-informed practice.

  • Relocation Assistance: Support for relocation expenses, such as transport, air fares, accommodation, meal expenses, removalist costs, may be available.

The role focuses on improving the health of Tasmanians by:

  • Providing a high standard of dentistry, including opportunities for treatment under GA, nitrous oxide and conscious sedation
  • Working in an integrated clinical team, alongside Oral Health Therapists and Dental Prosthetists
  • Supporting clinicians to stay up to date with CPD.

You will need:

  • Sound knowledge of dentistry, including children's dentistry, at the general dental practitioner level.
  • A commitment to continuing professional education and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • An up-to-date knowledge and appreciation of the principles of Public Health Dentistry and Minimal Intervention Dentistry with a commitment to improving the safety and quality of services.

Details of appointment:

Permanent part time, day worker position, working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $129,130 to $202,386 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance withDental Officers Agreement 2022

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
