Our child-focused approach emphasises the best interests of the children, guided by their active participation. Our qualified Family Time Facilitators, also known as Supervised Contact Workers, deliver caring and professional supervision with no waitlist. Our goal is to ensure that every child enjoys a loving, meaningful, and positive relationship with both parents and family members.
Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Contact Visit Supervisor located in Western Sydney. The Contact Visit Supervisor will be responsible for supervising family time visits, ensuring the safety and well-being of children during these visits, and providing detailed observational reports. Additionally, the role involves facilitating positive interactions between children and their parents or family members in a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Counselling, or a related field.
Experience in family services, child protection, mental health, family law, or family violence.
Strong skills in engaging with children, managing behaviours, and de-escalating conflict.
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English is essential for clear, professional communication and the preparation of comprehensive, child-focused reports suitable for court.
Availability for flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends and occasional public holidays.
Access to a computer/laptop with Microsoft Word proficiency.
A current Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).
A valid ABN,
Valid Australian Driving License and a comprehensively insured vehicle for travel across Sydney.
Desirable but not essential: Experience supervising parent-child visits, knowledge of the family law sector, or experience working with culturally diverse communities.
