  • Coffee Barista Trainer for Correctional Centres; Due to an increased growth and demand in Brisbane and regional - QLD.  We are seeking qualified and experience trainers to deliver and assess the following units of competency:
  • SITXFSA005 - Use hygienic practices for food safety
  • SITHFAB025 - Prepare and serve espresso coffee

The ability to deliver high quality, compliant and engaging sessions is vital, while ensuring appropriate assessment systems are in place that allow each person to attain relevant qualifications. Foundations Skills will be also available, the qualification required is TAESS00026 which is a literacy skillset.

We offer part-time and casual positions designed to support work flexibility, ongoing learning and development. You'll be joining a supportive and hard-working team. 

Training will occur at Correctional Centres around Brisbane and regional areas, including Lockery Valley

About you:

You are a clear communicator with experience working or interacting with people from disadvantaged backgrounds with low levels of education and learning. 

About your qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment -TAE40116
  • Qualifications equal to or above the level of delivery of training
  • Industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering accredited vocational training
  • Ability to engage all learner types and levels
  • Ability to work unsupervised and good time management skills
  • Ability to captivate, retain, and provide engaging training classroom based
  • Ability to build supportive relationships with students
  • Moderate computer literacy including MS Office suite
  • National Police Check required
