As a proud local training provider, Nova College offers nationally recognised qualifications designed to support learners who aspire to build careers in areas such as Early Childhood Education and Care and Individual Support.

Nova College is excited to launch our new Certificate III in Individual Support program (in English and Mandarin), and we are seeking an experienced and passionate Trainer/Assessor to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the design and development of the training program
  • Deliver engaging and practical training sessions and tutorials in both English and Mandarin
  • Teach, support and assess learners across in-class teaching and workplacement
  • Work with other trainers to monitor training progress and ensure quality delivery
  • Review and improve programs and relevant learning resources
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with industrial partners such as health and aged care providers

To apply this role, you will need:

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent vocational competencies at or above the level of training delivered)
  • At least 2 years experience in relevant industry
  • Current industry professional development record

  • Have a good understanding of ASQA standards

  • Have a strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin
