InfoMedix is looking for a DevSecOps Lead to join our team and lead our transition into scalability. Our mission is to help Hospitals in their journey from paper records to Digital-Medical Records which improves the standard of care. *** This role can be located across the Eastern Seaboard of Australia, ideally Melbourne ***

What we need you to have to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years of industry experience using AWS in a production environment;
• Experience working within a scale up environment, comfortable with turning chaos into clarity;
• A collaborative and pragmatic problem solver, keen to work with technology teams to achieve an output;
• Holds a passion for improving patient outcomes across Australia;
• Loves being the gatekeeper and teacher when it comes to [cyber]security;
• Able to work independently and to self-direct your work;
• A degree in Computer Science or related technical field is desirable;
• Wisdom to know when to extend existing tools, when to build new ones.

More about your technical experience:

• Competent with building and managing complex automated production environments using Terraform;
• Detailed knowledge of CI/CD using AWS services;
• Competent with writing, debugging and maintaining complex Python scripts in in both an AWS environment (lambda) and standalone scripts;
• Competent with writing, debugging and maintaining Bash/Shell scripts on Linux servers;
• Experience with administration of Linux servers;
• Experience with build tools such as Jenkins;
• Experience with Docker;
• Has been exposed to cybersecurity frameworks, policies and principles and is comfortable implementing them;
• 4+ years' experience with Linux in a production environment;
• AWS Certifications are highly regarded; and
• Self-motivated and experienced at working remotely.

Here are the other technologies that you will be exposed to if you are successful in the role:

• Microsoft stack including MS Azure, SQL Scripts and Windows Servers;
• Experience with Cloudformation;
• AWS peripheral technologies like Aurora
• Fast Healthcare Interoperability Standard (FHIR) and HL/7 protocols (Health Level 7)
• Experience with XML/XSL scripting, JSON
