The Opportunity:
This role reports to the GM Technology Modernisation and can be filled in either Sydney or Melbourne.
The Head of DevOps will play a strategic role in designing and building the infrastructure for sites/software, ensuring the highest levels of security and responding swiftly to any new and emerging vulnerabilities and security threats.
- Implementation and management of DevSecOps tools, processes and capability.
- Maturing devsecops practices across all areas
- Creating tools and automated workflow capabilities in order to enable the Engineering & QA teams to test and promote code.
- Building, configuring, and maintaining the frameworks, tools, and systems that enable optimal performance of the business's sites/software. He additionally leads the design and implementation of real-time monitoring systems of these sites/software.
- Providing hands-on support to Engineering teams by enabling the migration of site/software services throughout transition periods and provides leadership in deploying sites/software
- Managing their team of Senior Developers to deliver on the DevSecOps strategy, target future states and defined timelines
- Providing thought leadership in defining DevSecOps direction and alignment to our Technology Digital and Analytics road map.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Experience working experience in a DevSecOps capacity, working within a fast-paced and fast-evolving environment.
- Demonstrate a superior and practical understanding of accepted DevSecOps principles.
- Ability to define/manage detail project plans, milestones, manages deliverables; understand financial/budgetary impact of technical decisions.
