Edmonton Tyre and Mechanical is looking for both an experienced Automotive Mechanic and a motivated Apprentice to join our busy and growing workshop in Edmonton (Cairns), QLD.

Your Role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles
  • Conduct inspections and scheduled maintenance
  • Perform tyre fitting, balancing, and brake servicing
  • Use the latest diagnostic tools and tuning equipment (including 4WD dyno)
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and efficient
  • Collaborate with teammates and communicate clearly with customers

What We're Looking For

Automotive Mechanic (Tradesman):

  • Trade-qualified with a minimum 2 years post-trade experience
  • Skilled in diagnostics, repair techniques, and customer communication
  • Confident using digital tools and diagnostic software
  • Self-motivated and committed to quality workmanship

Apprentice:

  • A strong interest in the automotive industry
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic
