Zafra Legal is continuing to pursue a steady growth path and is seeking an additional senior member to join its property team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate (+5 year PAE) property lawyer to join us. The opportunity exists for someone who is looking to move into a leadership role in the near future, working with a top-tier client base active in commercial and residential property projects, commercial leasing, land development and wholesale property investment.

The role will provide exposure to both transactional work and ongoing advisory matters, within an established property practice with a proven track record of advising on some of the most successful and complex land development projects completed in Perth recent years.

Operating in a team environment alongside a talented group of legal professionals, the successful candidate will coordinate and contribute to the team's delivery of our legal services, working closely with our practice area leaders and managing key interfaces with clients.

We often collaborate directly with our client's project leadership team, directly contributing towards project delivery and playing an influential role to advise upon and help execute key project decisions, often within dynamic, fast moving project environments.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated lawyer admitted to practice in Western Australia with demonstrated capability as a property and leasing practitioner in private practice.

The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:

• Depth of experience in advising clients in most of the following areas:

• leasing (retail, commercial and industrial)

• land acquisitions and sales
• project development (including planning, approvals, financing and infrastructure for commercial and residential projects)
• due diligence and risk management
• legal compliance and property-related regulatory matters
• Strong project management skills and a focus on client service.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to mentor and help support the continued development of our talented team.
• Strong legal drafting skills and attention to detail.
• Motivated professional with defined career progression objectives.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams.

Attractive base salary offered based on demonstrated experience in private practice, plus performance based remuneration.
