An exciting opportunity has come up from individual looking to join our team in West Footscray, Victoria as a Warehouse Storeman

Key responsibilities in this job will include, yet are not limited to:

  • Contributing to a fully operational dispatching and warehousing service which includes maintaining good house keeping in our dispatch and warehousing area.
  • Prioritising distribution requests whilst safely and effectively packing product into transportation boxes when required.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting/undertaking manual handling.
  • Load and unload shipping containers using a forklift.
  • Assisting in the record keeping of activities related to safety, vehicles, forklifts and delivery/customer receipt.
  • Completing quality checks on products prior to them being put into stock or delivered to the client.
  • Ensuring all products being put into stock are adequately protected to prevent damage during storage.
  • Working with delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles.
  • Assist with deliveries and other tasks as required.

The person we are seeking must hold a valid a Forklift licence (and Forklift experience), possess a valid Driver's licence along with a positive " can do " attitude, who also wants to be part of a positive team environment.

In return ACC Higgins offers secure employment and above award wages to staff. This position encompasses 38 hours per week with overtime hours required from time to time.
