An exciting opportunity exists for a Sonographer Senior or a combined Sonographer/Radiographer Senior to join the Medical Imaging team. This position will lead by example in delivering advanced, high-quality imaging services across key areas, helping drive exceptional diagnostic and treatment outcomes for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

Deliver independent high-level Sonographer or combined Radiographer/Sonographer clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.

Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.

Take a leadership role in the monitoring of professional clinical standards and outcomes, service improvement activities, Performance and Development Plans (PDP), quality activities, evidence-based practice, clinical research programs.

Facilitate and contribute to clinical research projects of clinical importance to the relevant Allied Health profession or multidisciplinary team, seeking outcomes that influence standards of clinical practice and the delivery of services.

Remuneration value up to $ p.a., comprising salary between $ $ p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $ $69.55 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (full time or part time position available, 76 hrs p.f.).
