Full-Time Chef Wanted | The Tipsy Cow - Cocktail Tapas Bar | Port Melbourne

We're on the hunt for a passionate, skilled, and creative Chef to join our team at The Tipsy Cow – a much-loved cocktail and tapas bar located in the heart of Port Melbourne.

Our venue is known for its vibrant atmosphere, leafy courtyard, late-night lounge vibes, and of course, our carefully curated tapas menu and signature cocktails. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a chef who shares our passion for quality, flavour, and delivering a memorable dining experience.

About the Role:


• Full-time position 30-40 hrs p/w


• Work closely with the owner and VM to develop and evolve our tapas-style menu


• Prepare and present high-quality dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients


• Ensure food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are upheld at all times

What We're Looking For:


• Proven experience as a chef (preferably in tapas, modern Australian, or European cuisine)


• A genuine love for food, flavour, and hospitality


• Creativity in the kitchen and a keen eye for presentation


• Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced environment


• A positive attitude and strong team spirit


• Relevant qualifications and food safety certifications
