Accounts Payable Officer

About The Role
Located in our Brisbane Corporate office, this role is a vital part of our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you'll play a key role in keeping our business moving, ensuring our suppliers are paid accurately and on time, while building trusted relationships across the company.

Your role will be rewarding and varied, where you will:

• Take ownership of creditor reconciliations to keep our records accurate and up to date.
• Engage your accounts payable expertise to aid in the continuous improvement of our invoice scanning solution.
• Manage weekly and ad hoc payment runs, process expense claims, and help keep our payments system organised and efficient.
• Resolve account queries from suppliers and operations, ensuring prompt processing and resolutions.
• Support Treasury with cash flow analysis by providing accurate and timely accounts payable information.
• Contribute to periodic close activities by providing month-end reports.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Curragh Site, Procurement, Treasury, and Finance to ensure a smooth flow of information and processes.

About You
You're someone who thrives on organisation, accuracy, consistency and building trusted relationships. You'll bring:

• Strong end-to-end experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in SAP S/4HANA
• A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration within a small payables team
• An eye for detail and the ability to stay on top of deadlines and challenges
• Clear and confident communication skills (both written and verbal)
• A solid grounding in accounting, tax and banking principles
• Familiarity with invoice scanning solutions, plus Microsoft Office skills
