Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the finance team. This is a busy and varied role where you'll take ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensure smooth payment cycles, and provide critical support to month-end reporting. Training resources will be available to ensure a smooth on boarding.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, coding, and batching
  • Ensure accuracy through three-way matching and promptly resolve any discrepancies with suppliers or internal teams
  • Manage account and bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Play a key role in the month-end close process, supporting reporting and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with the wider finance team, including Payroll, Accounts Receivable, and Senior Accounting staff, to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Support ongoing process improvements and contribute to building efficient, reliable finance systems
The Successful Applicant
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance support role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing
  • Organised with excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems
