Cambodian Support Workers

The Co Group is seeking a Cambodian Support Worker to work in Berrinba QLD and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

• Khmer-speaking
• Valid Driver's Licence & access to a comprehensive-insured car
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with Disability and/or Aged Care support
• Must be willing to provide all aspects of support including client transport, meal preparation, domestic assistance, etc.

What you'll do:

• Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible
• Be a trusted and reliable point of contact for participants and their families
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports.
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance, community access and personal care
