Redcape Hospitality is seeking a passionate, committed hospitality professional to join our Leadership Team at Durack Tavern as one of our Duty Managers. Working as part of the Venue Leadership Team to successfully run the Hotel's operations in a hands-on role that includes FOH and BOH duties.

This role may be available in a Casual capacity for the right candidate if mutually beneficial for both parties.

Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations

The purpose of this role is to work cohesively as a member of the Venue Leadership Team, who take carriage of general hotel operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience.  The key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Leading a variety of internal teams as we strive to offer outstanding customer experiences.
  • Ensuring we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation.
  • Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive.
  • Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in conjunction with our Hotel's operating hours.

  • RSA & RSG required.
  • CLO, First Aid, RMLV/Approved Manager preferred, not necessary.
  • Although previous management experience is preferrable, it is not a mandatory requirement for the right candidate.
