Tingalpa, Brisbane | Aerospace & Defence | Full-Time Permanent

Ferra Engineering is a trusted supplier of precision aerospace components to global defence primes. We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Program Managers who are passionate about delivering high-value programs to the international aerospace and defence market.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Program Manager positions at Ferra Engineering. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of key manufacturing programs, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer and key stakeholder relationships, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and report on program status
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to ensure successful program delivery
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to meet program objectives
  • Prepare and manage complex bids and quotations to deliver competitive solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in program management and manufacturing processes

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or defence industry program management preferred
  • Strong project management skills with a proven record of on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of AS9100, US Export Controls, DFAR, SAP, Agile methodologies, or Lean Six Sigma (highly regarded)
