At voco Gosford, modern elegance meets warm hospitality in the heart of the Central Coast. At voco Gosford, we'll cater to both business and leisure guests, as well as provide a swanky new destination for locals to meet.

The Maintenance Supervisor will play an important role in assisting the Maintenance Manager to oversee the engineering and maintenance operations of our new hotel, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests and our team members.

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join our team during the pre-opening phase of a new hotel, that will look to be the changing face of the Central Coast. A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

● Assist the Maintenance Manager in all aspects of the engineering and maintenance operation.

● Supervise and coordinate the work of all our maintenance staff and contractors

● Creating a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy

● Maintain and order parts and supplies whilst minimising waste and meeting our green initiatives

● Being flexible to react to ad-hoc duties where we have to unexpectedly pull together to get a task completed

● Building strong relationships with outside contacts including guests, regulatory agencies, others as needed

● Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption

● Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance across all hotel areas

● Ensure health & safety compliance and adherence to building codes and regulations

● Maintain accurate records of work completed, inventory, and equipment servicing

● Assist in training and developing team members

What we need from you

● Higher education/advanced vocational training

● Four years' experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience

● Specialised expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields

● Level 3 EPA Certification, HVAC and refrigeration certificate, licensed plumber and/or journeyman status for electrician and carpenter may be required

● Hotel experience preferred

● Professional certification and license if required by law
