The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a mid-level Medical Regulatory Lawyer to join our rapidly growing Commercial Contracts Practice Group. We're looking for a technically strong lawyer with a passion for client service, who is excited to help us build our practice further.
In this role you will become a core member of our Enterprise team. You will work directly with large, multinational corporations across the healthcare industry on a broad range of interesting and complex projects, as well as with a number of our SME clients.
You will work alongside a team of energetic and high-performing lawyers across a broad range of medical regulatory compliance and general commercial matters. Our team largely services enterprise level clients (with a mix of small and medium size business), with a focus on providing efficient, cost-effective and quality legal services.
LegalVision has a unique client-centric approach to delivering legal services. We understand that quality and technical expertise is a given, and what our clients really want is a trusted business advisor that provides commercially astute and pragmatic advice, whilst delivering an exceptional client experience. You'll be involved in building these client relationships, and finding ways that LegalVision can add ongoing value to the client's business.
Key Responsibilities

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including clinical trial agreements, goods and services agreements (for the supply of healthcare services and medical devices / consumables), independent contractor agreements and software agreements.
- Contributing to the growth of team and business through the delivery of articles, external webinars, and internal 'LV Academy' training sessions.
- Working closely with your Practice Leaders, helping to train graduates, and being part of a fun, motivated and supportive team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Quality experience: 2-4 years of experience from a reputable legal environment, whether in-house, private practice or both, with demonstrated experience in medical regulatory compliance. Experience assisting with / reviewing applications for Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods registrations and listings will be highly regarded, but is not required.
- Quality drafting skills: Drafts clear, concise and commercially pragmatic advice in relation to complex regulatory areas.
- Attentive: Brilliant attention to detail; nothing ever slips through the cracks.
- Efficient: Prioritises effectively; focuses on what matters; smashes it out.

- Collaborative: Gets a kick out of working with smart, fun and passionate people and learning from them.
Benefits
- Fast-paced environment with accelerated growth opportunities for high performers.
- Talented and energetic teammates across the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
- Earn additional 'LV Leave' days, plus paid birthday leave, volunteering leave, and parental leave.
- Annual budget to spend on external learning and development.
- Regular team socials, drinks and team lunches.
- Vibrant office environment in Surry Hills super close to Central Station, and flexible work-from-home options.
