Green Gully Soccer Club are seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused wait staff to join our team. As a member of the front-of-house service team, you will play a key role in ensuring guests have a positive dining experience by providing exceptional service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly, warmly, and professionally.
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverages.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen/bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and handle any concerns promptly.
- Clear tables, reset settings, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Process payments accurately (cash and electronic transactions).
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members and support overall restaurant operations.
Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a wait staff or hospitality role preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Food Handlers Certificate.
