About the Role
The Building Associate will assist our site supervisors and project managers to ensure construction projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This is a full-time permanent position, with a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist in planning building works
- Support compliance with building codes, standards, and WHS legislation
- Monitor progress and report on project status
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, schedules, and work programs
- Provide on-site supervision support as required
Skills & Experience Required
- AQF Diploma or higher in Building and Construction (or overseas equivalent)
- At least 2 years' relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of Australian building regulations and WHS requirements
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Current driver's licence
