Sunshine Coast Queensland, Australia Social Mafia Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Social Mafia is an e-commerce marketing agency that helps brands cut through the noise with innovative organic strategies, specialising in social media. Our clients trust us to transform their scattered marketing into systematic growth machines - and we need a talented designer to help us deliver on that promise.

The Role:
15-20 hours per week initially, with progression to full-time in 2026.

We're looking for a versatile graphic designer who can juggle multiple brand personalities without breaking a sweat. You'll be creating high volume social content for diverse e-commerce clients, each requiring you to nail their unique visual identity.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Create social media content weekly across multiple client accounts
  • Create on brand motion graphics for our social media clients
  • Design Instagram posts, stories, carousels and other social media assets
  • Interpret creative briefs and translate strategies into compelling visuals
  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints for 5-10 different brands
  • Collaborate with our social media team to meet client deadlines
  • Support campaign activations with fast turnarounds

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual competitor research
  • Contribute to creative brief development
  • Design internal marketing materials for Social Mafia
  • Support the team with ad-hoc design needs
  • Copywriting for creative assets/social media posts

Essential Skills:

  • Expert level Canva proficiency (this is non-negotiable. We live in Canva)
  • Ability to replicate and work within diverse brand guidelines
  • Strong understanding of best design practices (UI/UX knowledge ideal, but not necessary)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistency
  • Self directed work style with excellent time management
  • Clear communication skills for our remote environment
