About Us:
Halbuild Pty Ltd is a construction management company based in the Sutherland Shire. We specialise in delivering diverse projects across Government, Defence, Commercial, and Local Council sectors, including fit-outs, refurbishments, hazardous material abatement, and heritage remediation. As our company grows, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our team with an immediate start.
About the Role:
The Site Supervisor will report to the Site Manager and Project Manager, playing a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of projects on-site. Responsibilities include coordinating on-site personnel, managing quality and safety standards, and overseeing site-based resource allocation. The Site Supervisor will also be responsible for upholding Halbuild's company values throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Your role will require you to:
- Communicate effectively and clearly with the Halbuild team, project stakeholders, subcontractors and other on-site personnel.
- Track and update the head contract program and its implementation on site.
- Supervise and implement HSEQ plans and ensuring that all on-site personnel have appropriate Work Health and Safety, Quality & Environmental awareness and application to the project.
- Determine and implement project specific risk controls, goals and opportunities for project innovation and whole of life solutions.
About You:
- General knowledge of WHS standards & regulations.
- Minimum 2+ years of industry experience and / or trade qualification.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well as both a team player and a team leader.
- Computer literate with general skills with Office suite and MS Projects.
- Experience using Hammertech preferred but not essential.
- Ability to adapt and problem solve in order to demonstrate our proactive approach.
- Australian Citizenship and an unrestricted drivers licence.
- General first aid & CPR.
- Ability to deliver works outside of Sydney metro areas.
- Ability to undertake out of hours works on occasion.
- Must be able to obtain NSW Police Clearance/DCAC Clearance.
