ABOUT THE ROLE

We are on the hunt for a Buying Administrator to join our Global Head Office team located in Hawthorn. This position supports the administrative function of the buying, shipping and receiving of tasks.

Reporting to the Product Developer/Buyer, the main responsibilities of this position are:

  • Raising official purchase orders in our system for sign off
  • Sending official purchase orders to suppliers along with information for packing and labelling
  • Updating shipping report/s ensuring accurate status of all orders
  • Following up on print-proofs for printed artwork and labels, along with barcodes for checking and approval prior to bulk production
  • Checking all artwork files and ensuring suppliers understand the quality of the packaging and labelling required for all packaged goods
  • Sending Shipment Approval Certificates to suppliers and updating shipping files
  • Monitoring and tracking of all orders and shipments
  • Maintenance of seasonal samples and keeping sample rooms up to date with approved / final samples

The Perfect Profile

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in a busy administrative role, who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and is highly organized with great written communication skills. We are also looking for a candidate that has the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in an administration role
  • Ability to manage and keep on top of a large amount of email correspondence
  • Efficiencies with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and Outlook
