An ability to stretch yourself whilst learning and growing provides a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to make retail/wholesale their career.
Whilst executing as a Buying Assistant you will also be working and learning alongside the product & planning team in your category. Opportunities for growth are endless, as you will observe from the merchandise team around you, and whilst being coached and mentored as you go.
We are looking for people who would like to;
• Creating and maintaining purchase and sales orders to ensure delivery from receipt to dispatch
• Liaise with production and shipping departments to coordinate timely dispatch and delivery of stock to all customers
• Accurate data entry and processing information required for use on the company's software platforms
• Creating and updating budget and sales reports, running stock reports and weekly sell thru reports
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Accurate processing of orders, articles, APNs, costing sheets
• Organising submissions for all buyer samples, ad samples and any other samples requested
• General assistance with all of the Buyer & Planner's responsibilities
• Other general administration tasks as required.
What you will bring:
- Understanding of a wholesale/retail environment
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Problem solving and resolution skills
- Ability to work well within a collaborative, supportive team environment as well as independently
- Intermediate Word & Excel skills will be highly regarded
