What you'll be doing

Provide individualised, high-quality care to patients/clients within a health service environment, working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse/Midwife to support safe, person-centred outcomes.

  • Deliver direct care within scope of practice and delegation
  • Support patients with daily care, mobility and communication needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to guide ongoing care
  • Assist with clinical procedures, equipment cleaning and preparation
  • Contribute to safety, quality improvement and WHS practices

  • Applicant must hold Certificate III Acute Care (HLT33115) or enrolled in Bachelor of Nursing degree second year
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to use information technology systems.
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated, flexible and adaptive as clinical needs arise, and still remain within the scope of practice of an AIN
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written skills, , including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team
