Are you an Occupational Therapist who is frustrated working a 9-5 grind with no flexibility?
Who feels like they're not making progress in their career?
Who is spending their time in the car or processing payments rather than connecting with families or growing their skills?
We have the perfect role for you
Why Chatterbox?
At Chatterbox, we believe in fostering an environment where you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families, while also being able to progress in your career and expand your skills.
Here's what we can offer:
- Fun, social environment
- Flexible working hours/conditions to suit your lifestyle and goals
- Experienced, supportive and cohesive team with the opportunity for quality support and professional development
- Clear career pathways
- Competitive salary with clear salary progression and bonus scheme
- Variety of work with the opportunity for you to develop your passion
- Full admin assistance so you can focus on your clinical work and let us handle the rest
- Your own therapy room and resources
But don't just take our word for it - hear from Matt - Senior Occupational Therapist & Team Leader and his experience in making the change and taking a role at Chatterbox:
"Something that was really different about Chatterbox was the clear career progression. I loved the opportunity to do something different and challenge my skills. I found myself growing as a clinician and feeling a sense of achievement. I love having my own therapy room and resources and the ability to set my own working hours that suit my lifestyle. A salaried position was also really important to me as a home-owner as it allowed me the stability and peace of mind knowing I would be getting paid the same every week".
The Role
Being part of our multi-disciplinary team means you will take part in diverse and impactful work, including:
- Designing and Implementing Intervention Plans: Foster independence and improve quality of life.
- Completing assessments for children from 12 months of age up until their early 20's.
- Designing and implementing group programming
- Participating in social media groups, social events groups, mentoring or clinical pathways.
We have positions available at our Parramatta, Kingswood and Penrith locations.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy (minimum bachelor's degree)
- The right to work in Australia
- AHPRA registration (or applying upon completion of degree)
- A commitment to implementing feedback to grow as a health professional
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
Only candidates who meet the selection criteria will be contacted for an interview.
If you are ready to take the opportunity to take control your career and make a difference for children and their families, please submit your resume to or apply via our website
If you're not sure and you'd like to have a confidential chat, send your contact details to and our Clinical Lead, Lucy can give you a call.
