The Opportunity

Solutions Plus has a strong track record in ERP delivery and is expanding its dedicated SAP S/4HANA practice with the appointment of a Business Development Manager. This newly created role represents an exciting opportunity to make your mark by driving new business and strengthening the company's presence within the SAP ecosystem.

Reporting to the General Manager – SAP S/4HANA, you will lead the full sales cycle — from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to discovery conversations, proposals, negotiation and successful project kick-offs. Working closely with marketing, SDRs, consultants and delivery teams, you will play a key role in positioning Solutions Plus as a trusted partner for organisations adopting SAP S/4HANA.

Key Outcomes of the Role

  • Build and convert a high-value pipeline in the SAP S/4HANA market
  • Leverage strong SAP networks to identify and qualify new opportunities
  • Conduct discovery sessions, presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals that meet client needs
  • Negotiate and close deals for new SAP S/4HANA implementations
  • Deliver accurate forecasts, CRM discipline, and market insights to guide strategy
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and customer success teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction

About You

To succeed in this specialist business development role, you will bring:

  • At least 4 years of proven success selling SAP S/4HANA solutions (not Microsoft)
  • A strong, current network within the SAP ecosystem and referral partners
  • Demonstrated ability to build and close high value ERP pipelines
  • Expertise in negotiation, proposal development, and deal management
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills, CRM discipline, and forecasting accuracy
  • A hunter mindset — self-driven, goal-oriented, and motivated to exceed targets
