Your Opportunity
The KPMG team is expanding nationally. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for managing and delivering projects, serving as the solution architect for Sourcing and Procurement solutions, and supervising a team of SAP functional consultants. The position requires technical knowledge, strategic planning, and leadership skills to deliver solutions in a dynamic environment. The role will also involve communication with senior internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role by:
- Practise Development: Actively contribute to the development of SAP methodologies, accelerators, and reusable assets. Mentor consultants and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Identify emerging SAP technologies and lead internal capability development.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a growing team of SAP functional consultants, assigning tasks, managing capacity, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
- Project Leadership: Manage SAP Sourcing & Procurement related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and system enhancements, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders.
- Solution Design & Configuration: As the solution architect you will oversee the integrity and excellence of proposed solutions; lead the configuration, customization, and enhancement of SAP solutions to meet client needs.
- Business Process Optimization: Partner with cross-functional teams to analyse existing processes, identify gaps, and recommend best practices using SAP capabilities to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration of SAP Sourcing & Procurement solutions with other modules (e.g., FI, CO, EAM) and external systems, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business units and IT, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level support for SAP Sourcing & Procurement issues and system troubleshooting.
- Training & Documentation: Develop training materials, conduct user training sessions, and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Innovation: Stay updated on SAP advancements (e.g. SAP Joule) and recommend upgrades or new functionalities to enhance financial operations.
- You can quickly build strong relationships and network with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external.

Your Experience

- A minimum of 10-12 years' experience in SAP Sourcing & Procurement implementations in a consulting or similar external client facing role.
- Deep functional experience of SAP S/4HANA Private and Public Cloud, and Ariba to manage the entire procurement-to-pay process, including strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract execution.
- A solid understanding of the cross-functional requirements to ensure excellence in project and solution delivery
- A solid understanding of core processes and the implementation of best practice solutions in the SAP SCM space
- Track record of leading high-performing teams
- Tertiary qualification (master's or bachelor's degree) in a relevant field.
- Current SAP Certifications.
