About the role
Based in Perth and seconded to a prominent Oil and Gas client, the E&I Maintenance Planner (Chevron - LNG) position serves as a key expert in Planning/Scheduling at our Subiaco Office on a 9 day fortnight. This role delivers front-end loading for a Offshore LNG oil and gas asset.
This presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to and shape the next phase of substantial growth for a well-established business, within a culture that prioritises safety, diversity, and innovation.
Your day-today responsibilities to include;
- Planning of work orders both preventative and corrective in all areas inclusive of Utilities, Process and Storage & Loading.
- Reactive planning for breakdowns and unplanned outages.
- Analysing defects and reviewing work order priority.
- Estimating the job steps and resources required for task completion.
- Identifying the requirements for external resources such as vendors or specialized trades.
- Reviewing maintenance/job plans and appropriate work instructions for accuracy.
- Determine and track correct materials required for maintenance activities.
- Cataloguing of materials into ERP system.
- Auditing and reviewing all work orders and confirmation of materials availability as per schedules.
- Grouping of work orders to align with facility theme maps.
- Support strategic planning and scheduling process.
- Identifying suitable quality ITR and ITP documentation.
- Liaise closely with Maintenance and Production Co-ordinators to ensure safe and efficient maintenance execution activities are met.
- Site travel for on site planner coverage will be required.
About you
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within the Oil & Gas Industry Maintenance Planning/Scheduling or in a similar capacity
- Relevant E&I trade/engineering qualification
- Experience with work order/ work pack development & execution
- Able to interpret engineering standards, specifications and drawings
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
