Our Mobile Maintenance team has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Team at the Woodie Woodie Mine Site.

We require an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Woodie Manganese Operations, situated 407kms south - east of Port Hedland in the Pilbara.

The focus of this position will be to safely, productively and cost efficiently lead the Mobile Maintenance crew to deliver serviced and maintained Mobile fleet to meet availability forecasts for the operations.

Reporting to the Mobile Plant Superintendent, the successful applicants will be required to:

  • Record availability statistics for all Mobile Plant and Equipment on site in daily shift report
  • Identify, plan and schedule routine maintenance activities for mobile equipment and incorporate backlog work management processes.
  • Procuring parts for breakdown maintenance
  • Record, report and communicate machine hours and the relevant maintenance plans
  • Maintain the integrity of the maintenance systems (Oracle), and follow up on all outstanding works
  • Identify additional manning requirements through the labour budgeting process to complete all monthly planned tasks.
  • Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings.
  • Maintain machine reliability through monitoring of components, GET and tracks.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment through conducting Safe Act Observations.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

  • Significant experience in a similar role, you will have working knowledge of mobile equipment & maintenance and be familiar with workshop procedures.
  • The successful applicant will have demonstrated safety leadership in the past and will strive to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Open communication, integrity and honesty are also essential ingredients to the success of this position.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • High level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Project and the office suite, Oracle or similar maintenance management system experience.
