Instrumentation Block Lead

Our offshore Turnaround team are seeking an Instrumentation Block Lead to join our oil and gas team, to provide discipline expertise and play an integral part in the successful delivery of our next major turnaround project. This role is based in our client's office in Perth CBD and will require offshore travel during execution of the Turnaround.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as Instrumentation discipline subject matter expert, providing clear support and direction to Turnaround team

* Be responsible for Turnaround Instrumentation Scope planning and execution, from strategy definition to lookback learnings and future planning

* Support execution of activities pre and during Turnaround. Monitor and track execution of assurance activity to ensure compliance

* Participate in reviews of work scope, plans and schedules to ensure deliverables are optimised

* Liaise with Operations and relevant Technical Authorities on Management of Change and Deviation Management

* Review additional or emergent work discovered during Turnaround execution and incorporate within planned scope once approved

* Previous experience of Instrumentation Superintendent level roles in Shutdown/Turnaround capacity

What you'll bring:

* Electrical background (Trade or Degree qualifications)

* Significant and relevant turnaround and maintenance planning & execution experience, preferably in an offshore oil and gas environment.

* Experience and understanding of scheduling work activities to meet resource levels and Asset priorities

* Proven SAP experience in a planning or resourcing capacity

* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
