About the role
We have an opportunity for an Assistant Director (Industry Regulation) to be part of our Industry Regulation team, Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate. The Assistant Director (Industry Regulation) is responsible for the effective development, implementation and management of strategies, relationships, programs and systems to ensure industry compliance with relevant legislative obligations and licence/approval conditions, and the competence of industry members.
The Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate is recognised as the leading security industry regulator in Australia, if not the world. The successful applicant will work closely with other NSW Police Force commands and other agencies to lead enforcement activities that contribute to making NSW a safer place.
