About The Role
Are you confident speaking in front of people and passionate about creating a great first impression?

We're looking for an energetic and organised Training & Onboarding Assistant to play a key role in supporting our People & Culture team.

This is a dynamic and people-facing role where you'll coordinate and deliver training and induction programs, support our traineeship initiatives, and help new employees feel welcome and ready to thrive.

What You'll Do

• Organise and deliver the City's monthly induction sessions - from scheduling presenters to welcoming new starters.
• Support and coordinate training programs and professional development opportunities for staff.
• Manage the City's trainee and apprenticeship programs, ensuring participants are supported throughout their journey.
• Build positive relationships across departments and external training providers.
• Keep training records accurate and up to date and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Confidence in front of people - you'll be presenting and engaging with staff regularly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities with attention to detail.
• A team player with initiative and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a commitment to delivering great service.
