Shifts: Afternoon Shift 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The Opportunity:

Are you an experienced Operations Team Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career?

As part of the Supply Chain team, this role will be to lead the production team at one of CHEP's highest performing sites in South Australia, providing direction and support to the team, ensuring productivity targets are met and leading innovation and change across the shift.

  • Providing leadership, direction, coaching, and support to the team
  • Driving team performance, providing recognition or creating improvement plans as required
  • Ensuring productivity targets are met via appropriate resourcing and planning
  • Supporting employee development through structured training programs

About You:

  • Strong manufacturing or production background
  • Proven supervisory experience in an automated and fast-paced industrial production or operations environment
  • The leadership capability to drive and motivate a diverse multi-cultural workforce
  • Solid experience in performance management and conflict resolution
  • A commitment to safety, continuous improvement, innovation, and change
  • Some exposure to production and maintenance planning, embracing the use of technology
  • Strong communication and team-building skills
  • Experience in a unionised environment preferred
  • Certificate IV qualification
