Busy Bees at Smithfield Plains is a warm and welcoming 82-place early learning centre where relationships and respectful care are at the heart of everything we do. With a strong commitment to play-based learning and uninterrupted time for discovery, our team works together to create a calm, nurturing, and inclusive space for every child.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator for our Nursery Room to join our supportive team and lead with purpose.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading the Nursery Room with confidence and care

  • Creating and delivering engaging, age-appropriate programs

  • Supporting routines and developmental milestones for infants

  • Mentoring and guiding fellow educators

  • Building positive relationships with families

  • Ensuring compliance with EYLF, NQS, and centre procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA recognised equivalent)

  • Valid Working with Children Check (SA)

  • Current First Aid, including asthma and anaphylaxis training

  • Experience leading a room or team in an early learning setting

  • Passion for nurturing infants and helping them feel safe, seen and supported

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Commitment to inclusive, respectful and collaborative practices
