, where professional development is actively encouraged. In this role, you will provide support to NDIS participants of all ages, guided by and collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
We have active roles available to join the team within our
Deer Park
or
Dandenong South
Clinics.
About The Role
You'll enjoy a flexible working model that includes in-home visits, clinic-based sessions, and outreach across the local community.
This role is all about improving quality of life for individuals and those around them.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Building strong relationships with participants and stakeholders
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs)
- Creating and implementing effective Behaviour Support Plans
- Educating and training carers and support teams
- Reviewing and reducing restrictive practices in line with NDIS guidelines
- Monitoring outcomes through regular data collection

About You
We believe that talented clinicians are developed and nurtured, not just found through an exhaustive list of requirements. With that being said, there are a few requirements for our PBS practitioners, which are:
- Endorsed as 'Proficient' or above against the PBS Capability. Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required).
- You hold a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
- You have full Australian working rights.
- You have prior experience in community, private or acute settings.
- You have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver's licence.
- You have or are willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check.
