The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver excellence in safety, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will oversee all aspects of preventative and reactive maintenance, cost control, and service delivery, while fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and team development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the Maintenance team to achieve site safety, quality, production, and cost objectives.
  • Oversee all preventative and reactive maintenance practices across the facility.
  • Manage budgets, labour, and R&M spend to meet financial targets.
  • Drive HSE compliance and champion a safety-first culture.
  • Ensure plant reliability through effective maintenance systems and continuous improvement.
  • Lead staff recruitment, development, and succession planning.
  • Manage capital projects, equipment installations, and contractor performance.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver optimal operational outcomes.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven leadership in maintenance management within manufacturing.
  • Strong HSE knowledge and a commitment to safe work practices.
  • Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and industrial relations matters.
  • Ability to lead change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
