Responsibilities

Reporting to the Hotel Manager & Head Chef, you'll be part of a small team of genuine people, We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the café/restaurant, and maintaining a high standard of presentation and hospitality.

  • Greet and serve guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver promptly.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, drinks, and light food items as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas.
  • Assist with stock rotation, restocking, and basic food prep.
  • Process payments and operate POS systems.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene standards.

The successful person must have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to great customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
  • First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
  • Ability to work as a team & also independently
