About the Role:

As Finance Manager, you'll support the Head of Financial Control during a critical system uplift. You'll lead month-end and year-end processes, ensure compliance, support audits, and drive efficiency across financial operations. While the role has no direct reports, you'll review work from Financial Accountants and Officers and collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements and support year-end close.
  • Respond to audit queries and prepare audit schedules.
  • Support daily finance operations including AR/AP and NDIS billing.
  • Submit BAS, FBT, and manage grant extinguishment.
  • Draft technical accounting memos for complex transactions.
  • Deliver financial analysis and board report commentary.
  • Drive process improvements and automation.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and risk management.
  • Partner with non-finance teams to support business initiatives.
What You'll Bring:

  • High attention to detail and strong decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
