About the Opportunity
Our school invites applications from an enthusiastic and creative Visual Arts Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your passion for art, creativity, and aesthetic exploration into a learning environment that celebrates curiosity, collaboration, and the holistic development of young women.
This role is permanent full time commencing in Term
- Ability to teach Visual Arts Stages 3–6 using clear, practical strategies that foster artistic, conceptual, and technical growth.
- Design inclusive and inspiring learning experiences that promote experimentation, creative expression, and rigorous critical thinking.
- Apply innovative pedagogical practices across 2D and 3D artforms, art criticism and art history.
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that supports deep conceptual development and the refinement of technical skills.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to pastoral care and the social and emotional wellbeing of young women.
The Ideal Candidate
- Hold relevant education qualifications including a current NESA accreditation.
- Able to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students through varied teaching strategies and pedagogical practices.
- Experience and a genuine interest in exploring creative processes, and a willingness to embrace artistic mediums and ideas that inspire students.
- Be a positive and curious contributor to a successful department committed to improving educational outcomes.
- Display a proactive approach to professional development and a desire to contribute to the broader school community.
